The prices for the course is as following in NOK:

Participation fee for private accommodation***: 4900 NOK

Extra night: 400 NOK
Rental of bed linen and towels (recommended): 240 NOK

(The full price for the Toppenkurset is actually over 12,000 NOK, but Toppenkurset supports the participants with the amount that exceeds the participation fee. The participation fee only covers food and accommodation at the folk high school, and barely that)
The invoice with a payment deadline of June 1st will be sent out together with confirmation that you have been granted a place.
The cancellation deadline is May 15th. If you cancel between May 15th and June 1st, you will be able to get a refund of 50% of the course fee. If you cancel after June 1st, you will only get a refund of the full course fee upon presentation of a medical certificate.
Free place or half participation fee.
The Norwegian Youth Orchestra Association provides support to offer subsidized places at our summer music schools. Those who would otherwise have difficulty paying can apply to have either the full or half of the participation fee covered. The Toppenkurset is one of UNOF’s summer courses, and if you need a reduced participation fee, you can get support through «Orchestras for alle». Read more about the scheme, and submit an application here. Remember to note that you are applying for the Toppenkurset.

An invoice with due date the 1st of June will be sent out together with the acceptance letter.
Last date for cancelling participation is the 15th of May. If cancelling between May 15th and the 1st of June one can get 50% of the fee back. If cancelling after 1st of June only a declaration from a doctor will return the full fee.
